300 Miles From Our Comfort Zone | Headed To The Tail of The Dragon

Join us for Day 2 of our first multi-day motorcycle road trip as we leave Evansville, Indiana and make the 300+ mile ride to Athens, Tennessee on our Yamaha MT-03 and Yamaha V-Star 1300. We've ridden 300-mile days before, but never 300+ miles in one direction or this far from home on the bikes. Coming from flat central Illinois, we're also about to get our first real experience with long stretches of curves, hills and elevation changes. The ride takes us through Cookeville, Tennessee, where the weather decides to add rain to the adventure. By the time we reach Athens, we're exhausted, farther from home than we've ever ridden and getting our first taste of just how different this trip is going to be from riding around Illinois. We're getting closer to the Smoky Mountains and the motorcycle roads we came all this way to experience.
