Formula Short-Track Racing - Lime Rock F5000 - Grand Prix Legends

What happens when you unleash a field of up-and-coming and young racing drivers in 500+ horsepower full-fledged Grand Prix style cars? Well, an absolutely exciting racing series for one. Fans loved F5000 and its not hard to see why. With its roaring V8s and Formula 1 performance brought to your local racing facility, it was a more accessible way to go racing, and an exciting one at that! With drivers like Sam Posey, David Hobbs, George Wintersteen, Dick Simon and owner James Garner (yes, that one!), F5000 was the place to be in the 1960s/70s.
