S1 Episode 3 - The Eastside - Desert to Forest

Take a trip to the far reaches of the Mt. Hood National Forest. We will travel to the Eastside, where the forests fade away completely into desert. On top it's a dry land where little grows. Down in the dark canyons is a different world of fir and ponderosa pines, a lush place in the shadows enriched by a rushing river. This is an incredibly peaceful place where the crickets will certainly keep you company. A lot of the ancient lands featured in this video are unprotected wilderness.
