Episode 170 "Mac Wants the Flamethrower" (The Week My Cat Went to the Emergency Vet)

Kevin Porter spends this solo episode of The Podcast That No One Listens To mostly talking about the stressful week he just had with his cat Max. Max started having trouble peeing (a potentially life-threatening issue in male cats), so Kevin rushed him to an emergency vet in Pasco. Max ended up with a true UTI, crystals in his urine, and is now on antibiotics, lorazepam, pain meds, and a lifelong special diet. Kevin details the anxiety, lack of sleep, multiple follow-up visits, pill struggles, and how the whole situation had him barely eating and replaying old trauma from losing a previous cat. He also touches on feeling God’s presence mid-week, why there were no new Transformers or G.I. Joe episodes, Shapeshifter being up on Brandon’s channel, plans for a documentary, upcoming Halloween theater trips (especially Creepshow), frustration with low views and engagement, a bit of Seahawks talk, and just trying to get back to normal.
