{Premiere}Tyler Frost – Stardust (Drum Army)

Tyler Frost | Music for the Local Dreamers It's been about four years since Tyler Frost told us his next release would be an album. At the time I was thrilled by the announcement, but didn't think much of it. Several drafts, conversations, revisions and doubts about his work later, I believe I now understand what this album means to him. It reflects his deepest inner self, with all the fears and joys he has lived through, and is, in a sense, an unfiltered musical self-portrait. "Music for the Local Dreamers" is not an album made to satisfy a fast-moving world and all its trends. Rather, it's a timeless creative engagement with a reality shaped by wars and catastrophes, as well as by personal happiness and hope. It provokes thought and draws listeners into a melancholic, atmospheric and profound world. Genres such as jungle, drum & bass, UK garage, right through to a jazzy, bluesy soundtrack, blend together into one great whole. "Music for the Local Dreamers" is a musical poem to the people who dream, and never stop.
