Charter - 48624 with Minerals on the GCR 18th May 2016

For quite a while now I have been looking to do a Photographic Charter and the thought of a Great Western Heavy Freight Tank on Mineral Wagons on the Double Track Great Central Railway seemed to be the perfect start! With 4247 from the Bodmin & Wenford Railway booked on the charter, it looked set to be a great day. Sadly however, just over a week before the Charter, 4247 was declared unfit for service, with reports suggesting a boiler lift will be required to rectify her issues.
