Backcountry mtb and philosophy of life

A backcountry mountain bike ride, a lot of rocks, a little solitude, and probably more philosophy than necessary. I've been thinking a lot lately about how differently some of these ideas hit now that I am in my 50s. Time feels different. The ups and downs of life feel different. And eventually you realize this particular roller coaster only has one ride. So this is mostly just me riding my bike and thinking out loud about life, getting older, and what it means to actually be present for it.
