New York Times Photographer Tyler Hicks presents the 2014 Morris Lecture on Foreign Reporting

Tyler Hicks, a senior photographer for The New York Times, presented the annual Joe Alex Morris Jr. Lecture on foreign reporting at the Nieman Foundation for Journalism on Nov. 6, 2014. Hicks won the Pulitzer Prize in Breaking News Photography for his coverage of the massacre at the Westgate Mall in Nairobi, Kenya, and in 2009, was part of the Times team that won the Pulitzer for International Reporting in Afghanistan and Pakistan. The Joe Alex Morris Jr. Memorial Lecture is presented annually by an American overseas correspondent or commentator on foreign affairs who is invited to Harvard to discuss international reporting.
