Ullswater Ultra Marathon, 50k in the Heart of Englands Lake District

At The age of 56 an with 3 years of running experiance, I decided I wanted to join the 0.1% of people in the world and run a Trail Ultra Marathon. After a DNF at The 57 mile Glasgow 2 Edinburgh Ultra last year, I trained smarter and more consistently. I got a fuelling plan from Precision Fuel and Hydration and kept to my pacing plan. This video follows me as I arrive in the Lake District the day before the race prepare for the event and complete The Montane Ullswater Way Trail Ultra Marathon.
