UENUKU | Bilingual Māori Rainbow Song | Colours | Preschool Music

UENUKU 🌈 This is the first song release from our upcoming album - 'KAHURANGI - Little Treasures'. This song was written a few years ago when I was studying at Te Wānanga o Aotearoa and had to choose a pūrakau/legend to retell in Māori and I chose the pūrakau around the Atua of rainbows, Uenuku. This wee song is great to help teach the colours of the rainbow in Māori and English. We hope you enjoy this waiata, lyric video will be out for you to sing along to on Friday :D Thanks to our good friend Rosina Cater for the cute rainbow, to Thom O'Connor for mixing the song for us and to ‪@NZOnAirMusic‬ ‪@NZOnAirTamariki‬ for your support in funding the whole album 💙 Song link: https://drm-nz.ffm.to/uenuku #kiwikidsmusic #bilingual #maorimusic #rainbow
