Beethoven Pathetique 2nd Movement Tutorial Synthesia (Andante Cantabile) Piano Sonata No.8 Op.13

Beethoven Pathetique 2nd Movement Tutorial Synthesia (Andante Cantabile) Piano Sonata No.8 Op.13 shows you how to play this slow movement by Beethoven in a video format. This Andante is one of my favourite pieces by Beethoven for solo piano. It has a melody that seems to speak to us personally and to the whole of humanity, as does so many of the slow movements and adagios of Beethoven. This movement is in rondo form and has contrasting sections in minor and major that with the first theme returning with different accompaniments, forms an overall feeling of tenderness, optimism and dignity that seems to want to emerge from the music of Ludwig van Beethoven. There is also performance video of this Andante Cantabile. Enjoy.
