The AORE A-W7 Pro is an automated welding workstation designed for medium and large fabricated components, including structural steel beams and box structures. Its robotic arm travels along a 16-metre track, providing an 18,000 × 2,600mm working envelope. The inverted L-shaped cantilever gives the robot access across a wide working area, with a maximum arm reach of 2,010mm. Key features include: • Automatic weld path planning – reduces the need to manually teach individual welding paths. • Flexible model input – supports 3D model import, 2D-to-3D conversion and parametric modelling for T-bars, H-beams and other standard structural profiles. • Tekla integration – supports breaking large assemblies into individual components for processing. • Vision-based positioning – locates workpieces within the working area. • Optional 3D scanning and reverse modelling – uses a line laser camera to generate a model from the component, with AI seam tracking to generate welding paths. • Multiple welding positions – supports flat, fillet, horizontal, vertical-up and vertical-down welds. Suitable materials include carbon steel, low-alloy steel and stainless steel with a non-mirror finish. For workshops producing larger fabrications, the Pro combines a long working envelope with automated programming features to reduce setup work and manual robot teaching.
