Major Thar OG Upgrades One of the biggest changes with the new Mahindra Thar OG is it now uses the M_Glyde 4G platform with a revised suspension setup and wider track. The Thar OG gets PENTALINK rear suspension with Watts Link, DAVINCI Damping with Frequency Dependent Damping (FDD) only in top ZXT and Electric Power Steering (EPS) & BLD for RWD. Mahindra says these changes are aimed at improving ride quality, handling, stability and everyday driving comfort. The 4WD versions also get an Electronic Locking Differential (ELD) and dedicated Mud, Sand and Snow terrain modes, adding to the Thar's off-road capability.
