What makes Thailand such a great place to live? I spent 10 years living and working in Thailand, and in this video I'm sharing my 10 great reasons for living there — based on my own experience as an international school teacher and expat. From the incredible food, beautiful beaches and tropical weather to the convenience, affordable lifestyle, golf, travel opportunities and the amazing expat community, Thailand offers so much more than a great holiday destination. I'll also share some of the personal experiences that made Thailand such an important part of my life — including how a golf society connection eventually led to a job opportunity in Egypt. But perhaps the biggest reason of all was the feeling of freedom and adventure that came with living overseas. Thailand wasn't just somewhere I lived.
