Ernest Chausson, Poème opus 25

A true masterpiece inspired by Ivan Tourgueniev's "Le Chant de l'amour triomphant" (1881) and dedicated to Eugène Ysaÿe (1896). Here a tribute to my dad who loved the piece and would rank it above anything else written for violin and orchestra, but never heard it performed by me... The FFP2 mask reminds us dark times and I am truly grateful about the possibility to play under the amazing baton of Pablo González and the wonderful RTVE Orchestra in Madrid, back in January 2022.
