KANAMI Was My Most Requested Guitarist… So I Finally Checked Her Out

KANAMI has been one of the names that has come up more than almost anyone else in the comments on Chasing the Blues. So after discovering Dany Villarreal, The Warning, Tommy Johansson and others through this channel, I figured it was finally time to see why so many of you kept telling me I needed to check out KANAMI. For this first introduction, I went straight to PRS Guitars Website and watched Kanami talk about her Limited Edition signature Custom 24-08, heard her play on her own, and got my first proper look at her as a guitarist. And yes… that PRS definitely got my attention. 😂 But something else stood out to me just as much: Kanami herself. Despite everything she has accomplished with BAND-MAID and now having her own limited-edition PRS, she came across as incredibly humble and genuinely passionate about the guitar.
