Hi everyone! (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶) A little late, but here it is! The new (and totally not stressful quest with randoms) rank for Dalion, now on its High variant: Dalio Ludian! Turns out Dalion discovered my weakness: not being able to hug... how bold! I still hug it anyway :3 In this video, I fight the new Rank 3 of the Planetcrusher Blitz (aka Dalion boss fight) with the UI disabled for extra challenge and make it a bit more cinematic. (I tried to move the camera to get some nice angles but the fight is so chaotic that it's hard to do that lol!) And let me tell you, out of all my no UI videos, this was the most challenging one so far due to the mechanic of this fight! This video also features Slash (as usual 💜), Hanaku and Midnight as my teammates! Thank you so much all three of you for the incredible run! = Time Stamp = 00:00 - Phase 1: Manifestation of Dalio Ludian, the Planet Crusher 03:22 - Phase 2: The Crushing Cords of the Puppeteer 05:04 - Phase 3: The Planet Crusher Awakening 08:07 - Phase 4: Dalio's Cataclysmic Wrath 12:47 - Phase 5: The Strings of Despair and Destruction 13:20 - Final Phase: Crushing the Planet Crusher 14:20 - Ending / Outro and Loot I find it funny that one of the puppet attacks from Phase 1 (the one where it punches you rapidly) is literally a GIF I made years ago when Dalion first came out xP I apologize for taking so long to upload this video. It's no joke, this quest is stupidly hard to do with randoms. I spent 4 Days straight trying again and again until me and Slash partied up with two of our friends! What makes this quest so hard to do with randoms you may ask? This quest has a mechanic where there's a circle around everyone. If you or other players get inside each other's circles (indicated when the circle around you and the player next to you turns purple), you have about 3 seconds to leave; otherwise, both of your HP will drain super fast, essentially leading to both dying. Now, imagine that, with random people, who already struggled to split between all 4 puppets before. Yeah... Other than that, with an actual experienced team, this quest is actually fun and challenging! The mechanic of having to spread is interesting (as long as it's not with people who refuses to play with that mechanic at all) . Even with a pre-made team, this quest is pretty difficult! Dalion has always been about proper positioning, and with this new rank, positioning is more important than ever! The lack of UI made this quest extra challenging compared to my other videos. Not being able to see players' names or their icons on the map isn't strictly necessary, but it helps a lot so you know if you're getting too close to someone or not, not to mention having to keep track of cooldowns and such. I do have one issue with P3 and P4 though... Why that short melody has to keep playing through all the way to the final phase?! I legit, after all those attempts, got so tired of listening to that same melody over and over again! Like seriously! And that's a shame because I like that melody on R2 with how intense it is, but having it play for like 8 straight minutes makes it very boring and repetitive. Music aside, the fight itself is very different from R1 and R2. I still would've liked to see the puppets have elements during the canon phase, but that phase goes by so quickly now. I guess to compensate for that, Dalio itself uses elemental attacks, which is pretty cool, and fire, and shocking! I'm sorry my puns are terrible I can see how some people may find Dalio to be annoying (in fact, I've already heard some people talking about it) because of the spread mechanic. I personally think it's nice, but with randoms, it's absolutely horrendous, but over time it will get better. Also, let's not talk about the yellow cubes of doom and death that spawns on P3. o_o Dalion has always been one of my favorite bosses, so I am glad they made it fun and challenging! I really enjoy those new phases with how chaotic it gets, with it on P3 getting into the arena to punch you and summon puppets to hit you! (Big tip: if you stay up in the air, the puppet attacks on the ground can't hit you! Yes, that also includes the orange unblockable ones!) Perhaps it's a bit repetitive with P3 and P4 making up the majority of the fight, but overall, I think it's great! By the way, for those wondering why I haven't posted the Phantom Tower Assault video.. Well, I did record it with no UI and everything, but.. I guess I wasn't really satisfied with it, and at the time, I was getting a bit burnt out on NGS, so I just kinda dropped it.. The quest is.. alright. It's pretty much a glorified purple trigger. Not much to say. o.o Silly Dalion, thinking can stop my hugs... (yes I got some.. hugging accidents XD) 🌸Anyhow, I hope you have a wonderful day or night, wherever you are!~ Stay safe and take care! 🌸 💜 ≽^•⩊•^≼ Nya nya~ (C) SEGA "Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis" Official Website https://pso2.com/ #pso2ngs
