2022 Hyundai Sonata N-Line vs Toyota Camry TRD | Is Toyota Outdated?

👋 What is the better sporty sedan? Brand new 2022 Hyundai Sonata N Line or the Toyota Camry TRD? Is the Toyota Camry TRD too outdated to keep up with the more modern Hyundai Sonata N-Line? Today I take a full look side by side with a 2022 Hyundai Sonata N-Line and the 2021 Toyota Camry TRD. To be honest, the Hyundai Sonata is a much better car. I do like the aggressive styling on the TRD Camry more, and think it's a head turner. The V6 with TRD exhaust also sounds better, but other than that the 2022 Sonata N Line is much better. THe turbo engine from the Sonata N Line packs so much more power and makes it fun to drive! The turbo low end toque is so much more than the V6 offers. The Camry TRD does have more top end, but it takes a while to get there. So the Sonata N Line is certainly a faster car.The torque converter automatic transmission in the Camry TRD leaves a lot to be desired, while the DCT in the Sonata is very responsive! The interior in the Toyota Camry TRD is pretty outdated too, while the Hyundai looks so much better. Toyota is slipping with the legendary Camry and Hyundai is knocking things out of the park! Camry still is a rock solid reliable car, but I'd buy the new Sonata N Line over the TRD Camry since it was actually fun to drive and very nice on the inside. Camry felt sluggish and old. Still a good option for the money if styling and long erm reliability are your top considerations. But the Sonata is a better car that even has more interior space with back seats that fold down.
