The Bruins just got ranked WRONG...

A recap of Thursday's Daily Faceoff LIVE called the Boston Bruins the team "right behind" the New York Rangers as the season's most pleasant surprise. But the Bruins have 15 points in 10 games, and the Rangers' 7-3-1 record through 11 games works out to the same 15 points in one more game, so Boston holds the better share of available points. This video audits that phrase, explains what a game in hand is worth, and looks at the real question behind the headline: whether early contributions from James Hagens, Fraser Minten, Mason Lohrei and Matthew Poitras can supply the "bigger picture" guest Pete Blackburn says Boston has been missing, with David Pastrnak still leading the team in scoring and Charlie McAvoy in ice time. The narration separates reporting from opinion, and the opinion is mine. — SOURCES — Daily Faceoff LIVE, Thursday's episode (hosts Tyler Yaremchuk and Carter Hutton, guest Pete Blackburn of the What Chaos! podcast): the records, the quotes and the player names used in this video.
