Here is the OTR price without insurance for private registration in Peninsular Malaysia. For the Standard range, prices start from RM114,171 for the 2.2L 4x4 Manual, and RM122,171 for the 2.2L 4x4 Automatic. There is also a 2.2L 4x2 Auto Plus variant priced at RM114,671. Moving up, the Premium variants offer more features and comfort, with the 2.2L 4x4 at RM141,821 and the 3.0L 4x4 at RM145,138. At the top of the range, the X-Terrain 3.0L 4x4 is priced at RM162,938, representing the highest-spec version in the lineup. Both versions come with the same engine and 8-speed automatic gearbox, so performance is very similar. The main difference comes down to features, comfort, and safety. The Standard variant is more focused on practicality. It gives you the basics you need for daily work, making it a good option if you’re looking for a reliable and cost-effective pickup. On the other hand, the Premium variant is designed more for lifestyle use. It feels more like a passenger car, with added features like a larger infotainment screen, powered driver seat, and dual-zone air conditioning for better comfort. Safety is also where the gap becomes more obvious. The Premium gets more advanced features like Blind Spot Monitor and Rear Cross Traffic Alert, along with additional airbags. The Standard keeps things simple with essential safety systems. In terms of design, the Premium also stands out with upgraded exterior details and exclusive color options. So if you’re deciding between Standard vs Premium, the real question is whether you want a basic work truck or a more comfortable, feature-packed pickup for daily driving. #isuzudmax #isuzumalaysia
