Camped Below Great Gable Summit, WIND 💨 SUN 🌞 CLOUD ☁️ RAIN ☔️ in The Hilleberg Soulo. Part 1

Part 1, In this video I catch the early morning train to Penrith and then a bus to Keswick arriving around 8:30am, with plenty of time on my hands I head to Weatherspoons for breakfast and a couple of coffees, why not. Another bus to Honister Slate Mine and we begin the hike to the first summit of the day Grey Knotts, and then onto Brandreth summit. The weather turns and I’m forced to put the waterproofs on. In the pouring rain and wind I make my way to Green Gable and then onto Great Gable where the summit is totally clagged in and no visibility. I quickly drop down and pitch the tent for the night where I’m tent bound for the rest of the evening. After a windy and rainy night morning soon comes and I get packed up and make my way down to Styhead Tarn to start another adventure. A great camp just wish the weather had been a little better, still got a camp though and broke in my new very orange 🍊 trail runners, always a positive. 😎🌈 PART 2 COMING SOON.
