Welcome to my new and improved toki pona series. I realised (yes, I use the UK spelling) that the format I made them in before was horrible, so I replaced it with this. In this video, you will learn the basics of toki pona, the Language of Good. You will learn: what toki pona is, it’s phonology (the sounds it has), how to make basic sentences, and you get a practice portion to test your new-found knowledge. I needed to get a video out by this Friday, but I’m feeling a little sick (not covid) so I couldn’t make a whole new video this Friday. It’s a lot easier to just stitch together some videos I already have than to research, write the script, record the audio, make drawings or find photos, and then edit it all together.
