Pitcher Growth Trial Update

We’re now a few months into our ongoing trials to find out whether plants will form larger lower pitchers when they are resting on a solid surface as they would in the wild, rather than free hanging in an unnatural way. We’re using our cross between N. sibuyanensis and N. merrilliana as a test plant, partly because we have a lot of them and partly because it forms pitchers that are so huge as to be possibly record breaking.
