Season 11 Episode 1: Emo Dad talks to unpeople Matt and James are BACK, and we start season 11 with a bang, as we speak to the lovely Em and Jake from THE hottest UK band right now, unpeople. unpeople gained high praise from the likes of Kerrang! Magazine (‘A phenomenon waiting to happen’) and Distorted Sound (‘arena-worthy hooks… hellacious screams… gloriously heavy guitars’). unpeople have been nominated for two Heavy Music Awards in 2025 - Best Breakthrough Live Artist and Best UK Breakthrough Artist, having also received a nomination in 2024. unpeople release their incredible new album, we are unpeople, on 9 October and are on the road this (and next) year with the likes of Don Broco, Royal Blood and their own headline tour. We LOVE this band so it was a pleasure to chat all about the new album, their amazing live shows, their transition from previous band, Press to Meco, and so much more. We hope you enjoy.
