Watch this complete 55-foot borewell installation as skilled workers drill deep into the ground by hand and build a solar-powered water system using simple tools and traditional techniques. The process starts with manual borewell drilling and continues with casing pipe installation deep underground. The workers then prepare the PPR loring pipes, cut slots for the water filter, and wrap the filter section with cloth to help prevent sand from entering with the groundwater. After the bore reaches around 55 feet, water is added to help control the sand inside the casing. The prepared loring pipe and filter system are lowered into the bore, the temporary casing pipes are removed, and a protective outer pipe is installed at the surface. Finally, the solar-powered pump system is connected to a solar panel and tested. After hours of careful work, groundwater begins flowing from the newly completed borewell.
