The Language Microsoft Killed Is Still Inside Windows 11

Microsoft officially deprecated VBScript in 2023. But here's the strange part: VBScript is still present—and, depending on the Windows 11 version and configuration, can still be enabled by default. In this episode of TECH TIME MACHINE, we trace the nearly 30-year history of VBScript, from its introduction in 1996 to its role in Windows automation, Internet Explorer, system administration, malware, and Microsoft's long-planned retirement.
