The Original Meaning of Every Hebrew Letter

The Hebrew alphabet, called the aleph-bet, is made up of 22 letters. Over the millennia, the shapes of these letters have changed significantly. Today we take a look at how these letters look in Proto-Sinaitic, Paleo-Hebrew, and the Aramaic Script used in Modern Hebrew and almost all Hebrew Bibles. We also learn the names of the letters, many of which are actual words that have meanings related to the most ancient forms of the letters.
