Worn engine mounts can make an E9X BMW feel sloppy, add drivetrain movement, and create unwanted vibration — so I replaced mine and tested a cheap DIY way to stiffen them at the same time. In this video I show how to replace the engine mounts on an E90/E91/E92/E93 and test the popular 3M Window Weld motor mount mod, which reinforces the factory hydraulic mounts without jumping straight to solid or aggressive aftermarket mounts. I go through the install process, how the Window Weld mod is done, what it changes, and whether the added stiffness and NVH are actually worth it on a street-driven BMW.
