Home to Australia's largest display of rolling stock and railway objects,artefacts and memorabilia, Trainworks tells the story or New South Wales' rail history. The Trainworks site features five precincts: historic Station precinct, Exhibition Building, Workers' walk, Great Train Hall Roundhouse. While we were in Mittagong, we went up to Thirlmere to see the Museum there. The museum is brilliant, not only was there lots to see and interact with but they also put on a bit of a show as you will see in this video, well worth a visit if you can get up there, we spent 4 hours there and didn't see all of it, plus my battery ran out on my camera and I lost my spare so I could only get what you see here.
