MELANIE SAFKA To Be A Star (Live)

Melanie had no way of knowing, here in '87, that 25 years later this song would end the first act of a musical about her life. In 'Melanie And The Record Man' - which played a triumphant season at Blackfriars Theatre, Rochester, New York, in October 2012 - it was sung by Nick Faruch in the role of Melanie's late husband Peter Schekeryk, and the entire cast.
