How to clean dust from diecast model cars

If you don't have a display with glass panels, keep your cars in their boxes (also ensures resale value) Use microfibre cloth Use a soft bristled makeup brush to get dust off fine details like the windshield lining or perforated grilles etc. Use water to damp your microfibre cloth to wipe dried stains of water or oil Avoid isopropyl alcohol if you can, and NEVER use it on plastic body panels or near sun strips or the frit surrounding the windshields A good way of cleaning dusty interiors (especially of convertibles) is to use a can of compressed air. Otherwise, the aforementioned makeup brush or a q tip surrounded by microfibre cloth can get into places too small for your finger In any case, blowing always helps get rid of coarse dust particles quickly.
