Making a Double-Braided Silver Bracelet | Full Tutorial Here is a detailed, step-by-step guide on how I make my double-braided silver bracelet from scratch. The video is detailed enough for you to make the bracelet yourself. I got the idea to combine two patterns after seeing some hybrid silver bracelets online. I also designed a simple, elegant silver clasp for the bracelet. I was initially unsure about the clasp's design, but I am glad I went with my simple, smooth design. The Process: I had some silver scraps left over from previous projects, which I melted into a mold to create a silver ingot. I then used my rolling mill and draw plates to produce two different thicknesses of silver wire for the bracelet. I twisted the thin silver wire together in pairs, resulting in long, tightly twisted strands. I coiled both the twisted wire and the thicker wire onto rods, creating two separate rolls of silver rings. I braided the thick silver rings and soldered them into a chain, twisting each ring 90 degrees in the opposite direction to create a long chain of 90-degree twisted links. I soldered the thinner wire into individual silver rings. Then, I braided the thinner, twisted silver rings together with the thicker silver chain—a process that was a bit tricky to execute precisely. It required patience to get the silver rings to interlock neatly, but I succeeded. I took a sheet of silver, cut it to the right dimensions, and bent it around an old copper pipe of the appropriate size to form a perfectly round silver tube. I soldered the seam shut and then soldered a small silver disc onto each end to create a sealed silver casing. Next, I cut a small section out of the casing, fashioned a silver "tongue" for the clasp, and soldered it in place. I then twisted a thicker silver rod I had on hand and sawed off a piece to serve as the knob for the clasp. Finally, I assembled all the components of the clasp and soldered it onto the silver bracelet. I cleaned the assembled bracelet in a 14% sulfuric acid solution to remove soot and solder residue, then filed and smoothed all the edges. The subsequent polishing also took some time. However, I was very pleased with the result—and I´m very happy to wear my own double braided silver bracelet. Be careful and wear protective equipment when working with acids and hazardous substances. #makingbracelets #mensjewelry #makingjewellery #diyjewelry #silverbracelet Chapters: 0:00 intro 0:11 Melting silver and making silver wire i rolling mill and drawplates 2:40 Making silver rings and making a twisted silver chain 5:54 Making twisted silver wire and rings 6:45 Showing the double brading tecnique 10:49 Shaping the the double braded silver bracelet 11:45 The process of making a oval silver clasp 19:40 Presentation og the double braided silver bracelet Subscribe for more My Projects - videos:    / @my-projects   If you want to be se how I made a Silver and copper bracelet Cuff, you might want to watch this video: Cool CUFF Bracelet Making - NO Solder - In My Workshop:    • Cool CUFF Bracelet Making - NO Solder - In...   This video is made for entertainment purposes.
