August Warren Walk: Specials, Slow Trains & Buddy's – 22/08/26

It's time for our regular monthly Warren Walk, with ‪@andybyrne50‬ & so we headed along the Dawlish Seawall to the Warren and back again for the August instalment of our ongoing record of the wall, cliffs, railway & coastline throughout the year. The weather was lovely, although the sea was looking a little rougher than usual with the tide in, giving us some lovely sounds of the waves along the way. The trains were another story, with many running slowly or late, but we still managed to see plenty—including two specials—which made the delays worthwhile! We also stopped off at Buddy's at Dawlish Warren before beginning the journey back, with plenty of familiar views along the route. I was running a little late getting over to Dawlish and, naturally, we ended up running late getting back too, but it all worked out nicely for another thoroughly enjoyable monthly Warren Walk with Andy.
