I built a free, open-source tool that turns AI-generated character videos into transparent sprites and sprite sheets with a consistent pixel grid.
In this video, I share my experiments, what went wrong, and how I cleaned up the results. I compare different pixel sizes, remove backgrounds, tackle stray pixels and flickering, and find animation loops that could work in a game.
Some results still need manual cleanup, and the movement needs to suit your game. I’ll show you what to look for and how to use the tool with coding agents like Codex or Claude Code.
