Vocal Strength Coach Reacts to Spiritbox ft. Tatiana Shmayluk – Circle With Me | FIRST TIME

My first time reacting to Spiritbox performing “Circle With Me” live with Tatiana Shmayluk of JINJER joining Courtney LaPlante on stage. Having Courtney and Tatiana side by side made this an especially interesting performance to watch from a Vocal Strength Coach perspective. Beyond how incredible they both sound, I was paying attention to how they physically approached the performance: stance, movement, positioning, stability, breathing, and how those things changed as the vocal demands changed. One of my favorite moments was watching Tatiana transition almost instantly from a massive distorted vocal into a soft, controlled clean. It’s a great example of why calling extreme vocals “just screaming” misses how much coordination and control is actually involved. And somehow I think I might like Courtney’s voice even MORE than I do on the studio recordings. Two phenomenal vocalists with very different sounds and approaches sharing the same stage.
