Hiiiii lovelies! 💕 This tutorial shows you how to hack the Cleo Makeup Bag sewing pattern from a quilted bag into a clear makeup bag. Open end jacket zip: https://www.spotlightstores.com/en-au... 90/14 Microtex needle: https://www.spotlightstores.com/en-au... Clips: https://www.spotlightstores.com/en-au... Fabric for the end tabs and binding Thread Woven label (optional) The plastic/fabric amounts and zip lengths are the same as those listed in the pattern. This tutorial works with all 5 sizes of the Cleo Makeup Bag, so just follow the amounts needed for your size. TIPS FOR SEWING WITH PLASTIC: Use a slightly longer stitch length of 3. As you sew, keep lifting the plastic slightly so it doesn’t get stuck to your machine. Otherwise, your machine may have trouble feeding the plastic through and skip stitches. Pins will leave holes in the plastic, so use clips instead. The binding at the ends of the bag helps stop the zip ends from fraying. If you don’t mind this, you can skip the binding.
