This Week we are sitting down to discuss the Thai Bl & GL shows of Weirdo-101, Moonshadow, Matchpoint and other bad BL parents because apparently Thai QL decided that parents either have to be vapid or EXTREMELY unsupportive... because realism?? First, we're back with Weirdo 101, where Niran and Cheewa continue doing whatever deeply specific brand of courting is happening between them.... but at the beach episode! Listen in while Amanda defends this show until their last breath and Brinley (reasonably) states that we should be moving faster... i guess. Then there's Moonshadow, which gave us the wet rag of decisions named Chan and FINALLY a ChanKey kiss. Key, Chan, Jay, Sun and the increasingly interconnected sapphic web around them remain messy, emotionally complicated, and honestly Chan needs to get a new lock so fast why has she not done that yet??? And THEN we have two new BL bombshells entering the villa. Cailey caught up on GMMTV's Matchpoint with new pairing TeeshowPing and SingChimon. Giving us DEFINITE Bad Buddy vibes, this show brought us back to one of the biggest tropes in BL... horrible parents. Although we understand this is true to real life (and Amanda gets personal), we know that this shows up a LOT across the Bl space and talk the worst parents- from Your Sky with ThomasKong to Fourever You with Pond and Cooheart- we deepdive into where these parents lead, and where we would love to see the future of this go.
