Youth Can Move the World 🌍 | Your Age Is Your Power | Baha’i Inspired Youth Song

“Youth can move the world.” — The Universal House of Justice, 3 January 1984 Being young can feel like everything is happening at once. You’re figuring out who you are, dealing with expectations, and looking at the world wondering, “Where do I fit—and can I really make a difference?” Youth Can Move the World is a Baha’i inspired youth song about that struggle, and the extraordinary capacity young people have to bring about change through faith, courage, unity, and service. ‘Abdu’l-Bahá describes this time of life beautifully: “The period of youth is characterized by strength and vigour and stands out as the choicest time in human life.” The Universal House of Justice also speaks of “the astonishing powers and unique capacities associated with the period of youth” in its message of 29 January 2014. And Bahá’u’lláh reminds us of our nobility: “Noble have I created thee, yet thou hast abased thyself. Rise then unto that for which thou wast created.” — The Hidden Words, Arabic no. 22 You don’t have to have your whole life figured out to do something meaningful today. Your willingness to learn, your creativity, your kindness, and the way you show up for others all matter. I’m creating this music because I want young people to hear the Bahá’í teachings in a way that connects with their lives—music that makes them curious, encourages them to explore the words of Bahá’u’lláh, and reminds them of what they have to offer. This song combines original lyrics with quotations from the Bahá’í writings and messages of the Universal House of Justice. 🌍 What is one thing you would like to change in your community?
