A Mercy to All World – From the Power that Dominates to the Power that Liberates *🌙 A Mercy to All Worlds | The Mission of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ* In this khutbah, we reflect on one of the most profound descriptions of our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ: *“And We have not sent you, [O Muhammad], except as a mercy to the worlds.” — Qur’an 21:107* As we remember the month of **Rabi‘ al-Awwal**, we explore what it truly means for the Prophet ﷺ to be *a mercy to all worlds*. His mercy was not weakness or passivity—it was a mercy rooted in **justice, liberation, forgiveness, courage and human dignity**. The khutbah explores how the Prophet ﷺ came to free humanity from false beliefs, oppression and servitude to people, calling mankind to the worship of Allah alone. We also reflect on the balance between **mercy and justice, forgiveness and accountability, gentleness and strength**, and ask ourselves: *Have we truly understood and embodied the mercy at the heart of the Prophet’s ﷺ message?* May Allah help us follow the guidance of His Messenger ﷺ and make us a source of mercy, justice and goodness for others.
