Something Good Is Getting Started | 1960s-Inspired Soul & Romantic Pop

A first dance at a garden party. A playful bowling rematch. A sister's silver hair comb. An orchard resting after the harvest. Welcome to Something Good Is Getting Started — twelve newly created, vintage-inspired compositions from Satin Street Records: eleven vocal songs and one instrumental interlude, with the warmth and melodic spirit of the late 1960s. Bright pop-soul and girl-group harmonies meet a gentle acoustic duet, tender country-soul, a chamber-pop waltz and a relaxed bossa-jazz instrumental. A carnival leaves town, a patient watchmaker passes on something more than a trade, and a woman discovers she can leave an argument behind without winning it. There is room here for a small success worth celebrating, for two different people making a home, and for a familiar love finding its song again. Separate stories, changing rhythms, and a common love of expressive voices, memorable refrains and warm small-band arrangements. ♫ TRACKLIST 00:00 — Something Good Is Getting Started 03:51 — The Saturday Switchboard 07:48 — When the Carnival Packs Up 12:02 — Nine Pins and a Lucky Strike 16:10 — You Bring the Spice 20:11 — The Man Who Taught Me Patience 24:40 — I Don't Need the Last Word 29:24 — Amber Glass Afternoon — Instrumental 33:35 — My Sister's Borrowed Crown 37:36 — The Orchard After Harvest 42:43 — Let the Neighbors Hear 46:49 — There's Still a Song in Us These are newly created songs with original lyrics and AI-assisted music and visuals, inspired by vintage musical styles.
