A Scroll Saw Box with Drawers

Another Steve Good pattern. This is called a scroll box. I have seen several forms of boxes like this in magazines and books but this is the first time I have attempted to make one. I like the looks of them but most of them are some form of bandsaw procedure. When I saw this pattern for the scroll saw I knew I had to try it. I used scrap and inexpensive material as I considered this the prototype and first try. The most challenging for me was the sanding and getting everything to slide in and out as there are multiple pieces to each component. This is where consistency and accurate cutting is important. Also looking ahead as to how to cut each piece so as to fit each other piece. I am pleased with the results but can do much better, and will if I attempt it again.
