Our 1890 House Has No Laundry Room (Ep.1)

A little over a year ago, my wife and I bought an 1890s Victorian. Ever since we moved in, we've been toting our laundry back and forth to our old house just to wash it. The washer and dryer used to sit in the mechanical room, and when we bought the house, the old water heater had tipped over and flooded it. Now the laundry is getting a room of its own. In this video, I frame a new wall with a door in the middle of an old den, plus a half wall to hold the plumbing, electrical, and dryer vent. In a house this old, nothing is square, so I measured and cut one board at a time. I'm not a professional framer. Most of what I know comes from YouTube and from friends who do this for a living, so if you see something I could do better, let me know in the comments.
