Simple and Gorgeous Lap Quilt | Basic Bargello Technique

Hello again, it's turned cold here in Wales and I'd really like my very own lap quilt. In this video, I'll show you how I design quilts, estimate fabric requirements, and how to piece it together. Using squares is a great way to practice the basic bargello technique before embarking on a more complicated pattern. The quilt I'm making is 11 x 5" squares by 13 x 5" squares and will be finished with a 5" border.
