Night Prayer Before Bed for Anxiety and Worry 🌙 Fear Has No Place in This Room | Oct 25, 2026

Tonight, the Church hands you one of the most tender invitations in all of Scripture — the reminder that you are allowed to set your burdens down, because the One who holds the stars in place is also holding you. That image from the first letter of Peter, written to people who were frightened and far from home, lands differently late at night when your mind will not be still. And tonight we pray through the lens of Divine Mercy, that beautiful devotion reminding us that no worry, no failure, and no fear is beyond the reach of a God whose very nature is to pour out love. If anxiety has followed you to bed again, this Catholic night prayer was made for you. This is a long, gentle prayer before sleep — about an hour and a half — offered especially for those who are weighed down by worry and need a quiet place to breathe and believe again. You will be guided through a meditation, a reflection on Scripture, the Rosary prayers, and a letting-go prayer built around trusting Jesus one day at a time, making this a true nightly prayer before bed for restless hearts. Whether you listen as an evening prayer, Catholic in tradition and spirit, or simply need something faithful to hold you through the dark, you are welcome here. You do not have to fix everything tonight — you only have to show up, and let God be near. Let this play through the night and wake up in His peace. 🙏 Subscribe for a new night prayer every week, and share in the comments who you are praying for tonight.
