Dehydrating Ginger Root

I had a lot of extra ginger after making a remedy and some of it was starting to go bad, so I decided to dehydrate the rest of it so I wouldn't lose it. Organic ginger is expensive, about $18 a pound normally. That's like throwing away dollars and not good for my food budget.
