As we count down to October 1st and the official start of the 2026–2027 Bald Eagle breeding season across many of the southern states, let’s check in with NEFL eagles Gabby and Beau. So far, Gabby and Beau have been one of the most active pairs, already busy bringing in sticks & moss. As they get a real head start on their nestorations for the new season. And the excitement is only just beginning. In just over two weeks, several more familiar nests will begin live streaming again, including SWFL, Winter Park and Eagle Country. What will the cameras reveal when they come back online? Will M15 have a new mate beside him this season? Will Great Horned Owls Willow and Gus return to Eagle Country for a second season, or will a Bald Eagle pair move in and claim the nest? And I know many of us are especially looking forward to seeing Wink and Atlas, the Winter Park eagles, once again. The southern nests are beginning to stir, the cameras will soon be coming back online, and another Bald Eagle breeding season is almost here. Not long now! 🦅❤️
