I wanted to check out the spurs heading east since I figured they would have some good views. This is part of the San Rafael Swell that I don't know very well. I've been through here a couple of times in the past. It's an area that definitely deserves more exploring. Winter riding can be great when there isn't much snow and the temps aren't too cold. Mid week during February chances are you probably won't see anyone except some cows and a wild horse or two.
