Scandinavian Boards' Most Insane Teeterboard Stunts! | 40th Tomorrow's Circus World Festival

The Scandinavian Boards are a dynamic performance group specializing in the traditional circus apparatus known as the Korean plank (or teeterboard). Blending precision acrobatics with creativity and trust, they launch performers high into the air using a seesaw-like board, executing flips, twists, and complex aerial maneuvers before landing with striking accuracy. Their act combines raw power, timing, and teamwork, often infused with a distinct Nordic aesthetic or storytelling style. As part of contemporary circus, the Scandinavian Boards push the limits of human coordination and courage, delivering thrilling, high-energy performances that captivate audiences worldwide. #circus #scandinavianboards #teeterboard #acrobatics #aerialstunts ------- Subscribe to wocomoCULTURE: https://goo.gl/VITuUt Follow us on Facebook:   / wocomo   ------- The Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain (“World Festival of the Circus of Tomorrow”) is a prestigious international circus festival held annually in Paris that focuses on showcasing young and emerging circus talent from around the world. Founded in 1977 by Dominique Mauclair, the festival was originally created as part of a charitable initiative linked to the organization La Piste, which supported circus performers in need. Over time, it evolved into an independent event and became one of the most important platforms for discovering new circus artists. The festival functions primarily as a competition, where selected performers—often at the start of their careers—present acts across various disciplines such as acrobatics, juggling, aerial performance, and clowning. A professional international jury awards gold, silver, and bronze medals, helping launch many artists into global careers. Today, the Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain is widely regarded as a key event in contemporary circus culture. It brings together artists, agents, and directors from across the globe and serves as a major meeting point for innovation and new artistic trends in circus arts. Many influential performers and companies—including contributors to Cirque du Soleil—have been discovered there, making it a crucial stepping stone in the evolution of modern circus.
