Making Pokeberry Ink

Join Site Interpreter Ben as he makes ink from pokeberries! Using berries from an easily found plant, frontiersman of the late 18th and early 19th Centuries could jot down some quick notes and even write letters while on the move. This is not a long-lasting ink, but it was a useful option in a pinch. Pokeberries are toxic, so please don't consume them or handle them without gloves. For a safer option, follow the same steps with blackberries.
