RAJA AMPAT how do you get here? (part one)

Welcome back 👋 This week we visit the best place we have ever been to on our travels! Raja Ampat, Nick named "the last paradise". Follow this series along to help plan your trip!! HOW TO GET HERE? Knowing where to stay and how to get here stressed me out but once we arrived everything felt so easy, and flowed together. You need to fly to Sorong. There are direct flights are from Jakarta. We flew from Bali with a stop over in Makassar, then to the final destination Sorong. We then we stayed overnight to catch the morning Ferry at 9am to Waisai, there are only 2 ferry times per day. From Waisai we got picked up from our homestay, you will organise this with them for pickup and onward travel, each homestay provides transport to your next destination as well as snorkel areas you wish to see across the islands. This week we stayed at Gam Island, Methos Homestay. We first planned our route on google earth, looking at each island, then searched for homestays in that area.
